It’s gearing up to be one of the most dramatic series of I’m A Celeb ever. 

With two campmates exiting the jungle on medical grounds, on Wednesday Jamie Lynn Spears became the latest celebrity to quit the I’m A Celebrity jungle after ten days. 

Britney’s sister, 32, had a very emotional time in camp and was frequently been filmed in floods of tears over the difficult conditions and missing her family back home.

During Wednesday night’s episode the campmates sent there well wishes to the American star after they received a letter from producers explaining that Jamie Lynn would not be returning to the camp. 

As Josie Gibson announced the news to the team, boxer Tony Bellew and EastEnder’s actress Danielle Harold were the first to send their love to Jamie Lynn.

In scenes earlier this week the pair had been seen chatting away as Danielle lapped up the Britney stories and comforted Jamie Lynn when she got emotional over missing her family. 

Speaking to the camera Danielle confessed: ‘I am going to really really miss her’.

Meanwhile Tony gave a sweet tribute to the star as he said: ‘We are going to miss her very very much she was a valued campmate.’ 

He continued: ‘She’s just a lovely girl.’

Hosts Ant and Dec also acknowledged Jamie Lynn’s exit on medical grounds before clarifying she is ‘doing fine’ since her departure and they wish her ‘all the best’.

Dec noted that ‘no one said it would be easy’ with two stars already gone before the eliminations from the public vote begin. 

Jamie Lynn left the show days after Grace Dent left the jungle amid fears over her ‘unwell’ appearance and after Nella Rose was taken out of the camp to be treated by medics – although she has since returned.

The star had reportedly been in talks with producers for days about leaving, but they were attempting to coax her to stay.

Another wrote: ‘Not ready for the first night without Jamie,’ while a fourth chimed: ‘Jamie Lynn has left which is a shame she was doing so well and really changing opinions’.

A fifth added: ‘Kinda devastated as Jamie was really growing on me.’ 

Yet not all viewers were so sympathetic, as other’s questioned the explanation that the star left on ‘medical grounds’. 

One wrote: ‘No way Jamie lynn left on “medical grounds” she definitely threw a tantrum and was removed #imaceleb’.

Another commented: ‘I really doubt Jamie Lynn was sick. Think she was just fed up.’

Speculating over both her and Grace Dent’s exit, another viewer questioned: ‘Jamie Lynn & [Grace] Dent both knew what they were letting themselves in for. So why go in if there is something medically wrong with them.’

Another added: ‘“Jamie Lynn has left the camp”. No note to her campsites like Grace did, no nothing. Ant & Dec “wish her well”. Ok… bye then I guess? #ImaCeleb’

A third chimed: ‘Jamie Lynn’s vs Grace’s exit was weird no? Grace wrote a speech and sounds like production were just like Jamie’s gone.’

Jamie Lynn still starred in the first half of the episode which was made up of footage recorded before her exit. 

And fan’s were left in hysterics after the star’s ungrateful response to the treat of ready salted crisps Danielle and Fred Sirieix won the camp during the day’s trial.

As they returned with a rather small pile of crisps, Jamie Lynn said: ‘Could they not have kept them in the bag?’ 

Taking to Twitter fans picked up on the star’s low tone as they wrote: ‘It’s good Jamie has left…. Everyones happy about the crisps and she’s pissed off????’

‘Why didn’t we see Jamie Lynn leave like she complained about crisps but that was it, I bet that was the final straw for her,’ added a second. 

A third commented: ‘God Jamie was so bloody miserable. Couldn’t even be happy when she got a crisp. #ImACeleb’. 

As the campmates have already been whittled down to 10 without the public vote, another speculated that perhaps other’s may quit too. 

‘I hope Jamie Lynn will be the last to quit but I fear she won’t be,’ wrote a fan. 

 A second tweeted: ‘Ur Jamie point doesn’t make sense as ImACeleb is a Marathon not a Sprint. Nella has been on the most trials she aced half of the trials she did such as the eating one & the fish one and didn’t do as well on the other ones. But Nella’s still there! Whereas Jamie gave up’.
