Jamie Redknapp opens up about dad’s ‘near death experience’
Jamie Redknapp shares sons Beau, 12, and Charley, 16, with ex-wife Louise Redknapp, 46. With the former football star having since shared a throwback snap on social media of them enjoying some rays on holiday as he hopes of being abroad with them sometime soon.
In a post to his 1.3 million followers, Jamie shared a picture of him alongside Beau and Charley as they floated side by side in a pool together.
He captioned the post: “Tbt Can’t wait to do this again soon @redknapp08 @charleyredknapp.”
Fans have since taken to the comments as they spoke of the former footballer’s sweet relationship with his sons.
One wrote: “Can’t beat spending time with your boys Jamie.”

Jamie shares Beau and Charley with ex-wife Louise Redknapp. They were married 19 years before their split in 2017.
Amid their separation, Louise has spoken out on how the pair have co-parented their sons.
While talking to Express.co.uk back in November last year, Louise said: “We work it out, the older one is at an age now where he’ll do what’s right for him when it’s right for him, we live really near each other.
“And the younger one, it just naturally falls into a bit of a pattern, and obviously Jamie loves doing the football with him.

“So on the nights that he needs to train, especially through lockdown where they couldn’t go out training, who better to have if you’re a footballer and you’ve got a dad who can still train with you in the garden and do the stuff that you need to be doing?”
Their eldest son Charley turned 16 last year during lockdown, with Jamie at the time celebrating the milestone birthday with his followers on Instagram.
He wrote: “My boy is 16 today. Keep working hard at everything you do, and that includes school work and not just rugby !!!
“We’re incredibly proud of the man you’re becoming, keep listening and learning, be well mannered and kind and you will go a long way.
“Can’t wait to beat you at golf tomorrow. Love you big man. Your Dad xx”.
In a separate post, Louise added: “To my amazing big boy @charley_redknapp I’m so proud of the man you’re becoming.
“You make me laugh, you make me strong, and to have you by my side means we’ll always be Ok.
“I don’t know what i’d do without you! Happy 16th Birthday babe I love you… now stop growing and eating me out of house and home xxxx(sic).”
