Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have reportedly got married in Vegas – but their ceremony might not be legally binding.
The couple reportedly said their vows in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas on Monday morning not long afterTravis’ performance at the Grammy Awardsat the MGM Grand Arena on Sunday night.
Kourtney, 42, and Travis, 46, are said to have got married at the One Love Wedding Chapel, with the chapel’s owner serving as a witness while an Elvis impersonator is said to have performed at the wedding.
However, the couple’s ceremony may not be legally binding as they reportedly exchanged vows without a marriage license.
“They had a ceremony, but on paper it’s not legal yet,” a source told Page Six.
The publication claims that Clark County records for marriage licenses and certificates show that the couple never applied for or received one.
Another source, meanwhile, told TMZ that the couple’s ceremony was “for fun”.
However, One Love Wedding Chapel owner Marty Frierson said that the couple’s ceremony – legally binding or not – was full of a “lot of love”.
He said that he “didn’t know” who the couple were when they turned up, adding: “I advertise as 24-hours but they wanted to make sure I was still there.”
He continued to People: “I didn't know who it was until they pulled up. I advertise as 24-hours but they wanted to make sure I was still there. They paid and they requested Elvis Presley, that was mandatory. I called back 5 minutes later and was like, I got an Elvis, and there they were.
“They came, got married, tossed the bouquet in the driveway, and danced to Elvis. They showed a lot of love and had a lot of fun.”
The venue was apparently not allowed to photograph the ceremony and Kourtney instead brought in her own camera crew, along with security as the pair made their vows to each other.
The newlywed's ceremony will reportedly not be the only one that will take place as the couple have planned more celebrations to go ahead.
Kourtney and Travis' reported Las Vegas wedding comes seven months after they got engaged following a romantic proposal from drummer Travis on the beach back in October.
The besotted pair confirmed the news of their engagement as they shared a series of photos from the moment itself, showing shots of Kourtney and Travis embracing on the beach surrounded by rows of roses and lit white candles encased in glass.
The Kardashian sister captioned the snaps: "forever @travisbarker" while the Blink 192 star reiterated, writing: "forever" also.
Travis has been married two times before and shares son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 15, with his second ex-wife Shannon Moakler, whom he divorced in 2008.
Kourtney has not been married before and shares three children Mason, 12, Penelope, nine, and Reign, seven, with ex partner Scott Disick.
