Football star Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma Owen, who came second place on Love Island last year with her now ex-boyfriend Luca Bish, has apparently “grown close” to a friend of Prince William’s.
Since splitting from Luca last year three months after leaving the villa, the 20-year-old ITV star hasn’t publicly dated anyone.
However, sources have told the Sun that she is now getting along well with polo player Tommy Severn, who is the Prince of Wales’ pal.
Tommy is from a famous polo-playing family, even playing against members of the royal family.
A picture from 2016 shows him with Prince William as they competed at Cheltenham College.

A source told the publication: “Gemma went to Ibiza to watch Tommy play polo in Ibiza this week.
“They shared a photo from the same polo club and they’re both passionate about horses.”
It seems that Tommy and Gemma have similar interests, as Gemma is also a keen equestrian with access to an amazing set of stables and a training ground at her family’s £4million mansion.

Express.co.uk has reached out to Gemma’s representatives for comment.
While Gemma split with her partner shortly after leaving Love Island, she has found a lot of personal success following the show.
Gemma signed a six-figure brand deal with Pretty Little Thing after departing the villa and has also released her own jewellery range.
Before she dated Luca, Gemma was in a relationship with rugby player Jacques O’Neill before her time in the villa.
In a shock twist, Jacques ended up joining the show and reuniting with Gemma, but he later left voluntarily due to the impact it had on his mental health.
Love Island: Unseen Bits airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
