Ali took to Instagram to share a heartwarming and tearful tribute to his mother with a set of two pictures.

One showed Ali holding his mother’s hand to his chest as she rested her arm around him in a restaurant as they posed for a picture.

The second showed Ali being held up to watch a sports game by his youthful mother.

Ali simply captioned the post with a black heart, with the heartfelt post paying tribute to her loving mother.

She tearfully replied: “Love you too.”

Penny took to Instagram to share a smiley snap with her son last month as they enjoyed lunch together.

The police officer captioned the sweet Instagram post: “So proud of my boy, happy 17th Alistair.”

Penny was wearing a pale denim jacket and wore her blonde hair tied back in a ponytail, while a fringe framed her features.

Meanwhile, Alistair wore a black polo neck top and a diamond necklace which featured the word angels.

This all comes as Rod shared that his youngest son was rushed to hospital after “going blue” during a football game.

He and Penny feared that their son may have been having a heart attack, leading them to call 999.

Aiden was taken away in an ambulance after collapsing whilst playing for his Young Hoops Under 12s team.

Rod said: “We thought my boy had a heart attack. He was going blue and was unconscious until he calmed down.

“It was scary, but it turned out to be a panic attack. The lad wanted to do well, pulled on the Hoops in Scotland for his dad.

“Another boy fell backwards and banged his head – he’s still not back.

“In all of my days watching football, that’s the only time two ambulances had been called,” he told FourFourTwo magazine.

It was later confirmed that Aiden had suffered a bad panic attack.

According to the NHS, there several symptoms of a panic attack including a racing heartbeat, feeling faint, chest pain and shortness of breath.

However, the website adds: “Be aware that most of these symptoms can also be symptoms of other conditions or problems, so you may not always be experiencing a panic attack.”

The Maggie May singer has eight other children in total from different mothers.

The Grammy-winning musician is father to Sarah, Kimberly, Sean, Ruby, Renée, Liam, Alastair and Aiden.
