Stacey Solomon gives candid insight into motherhood as fan asks for advice

Loose Women favourite Stacey Solomon has urged other mums not to be so hard on themselves if they feel like they haven’t "got their sh*t together".

Stacey, 33, is a proud mum to five kids – three of whom are under the age of four.

The former The X Factor star has sons Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, from two previous relationships, while she shares three year old Rex, one year old Rose and newborn baby Belle with husband Joe Swash.

Stacey’s known for keeping her fans updated on her life on Instagram, and assured other mums that she’s run off her feet.

Alongside a screenshot of a message she received from a mum-of-three asking her how she keeps it together, Stacey replied via an Instagram Story video: “Public service announcement for anyone who's ever felt like ‘oh my gosh, it looks like they’ve got their sh*t together and I really haven’t’, please don’t feel like that. You’re doing an incredible job.

“I know it looks like I’ve gone straight back to normal as if I never gave birth – it feels like that, if I’m honest – but it’s only because the whole sleep when she sleeps, make sure you take time to rest and recover, don’t do anything too quickly goes all out the window when you have a one year old.”

Stacey went on to label the age gap between her three youngest kids as "incredible".

She told fans: "It’s incredible this age gap: three, one and zero, I’m so grateful to have three young babies that I can raise together and can grow up together. I’m honestly so grateful. But I can assure you that 100% of the time, I feel absolutely f***ed.”

“You’re not alone,” she went on to laugh.

Stacey also wrote alongside the clip: “Just a PSA that you’re doing amazing. Rest up if you can. You deserve it.”

Doubling down on the fact that she’s an extremely busy mum-of-five, Stacey recently revealed that she washed her hair for the first time in almost a month.

Stacey took to her Instagram stories to mark the moment, as she spoke to the camera whilst brushing through her wet hair in the bathroom.

She said: "I've finally done it. Finally washed this mop," before smelling her hair and continuing: "Sweet, sweet smell of not grease.

"I feel emotional about it, honestly. I feel like I should make a speech about it, it's been that long."

She went on to thank newborn Belle for not crying long enough for her to have a proper wash, as well as hubby Joe for not divorcing her for not washing her locks for so long.
