The Wanted singer Max George has revealed he and fellow bandmate Tom Parker are hoping to try and get the group back together for a reunion, in a move that will have fans jumping for joy.
It’s been a decade since Max, 32, Tom, 32, Siva Kaneswaran, 32, Nathan Sykes, 28, and Jay McGuiness, 30, first released music.
The popular boyband smashed the UK charts with their single Glad You Came in 2011, and it remained at the top for five weeks.
Max expressed his desire to have The Wanted reunite in a new interview, and assured Tom, who is living with terminal cancer, is also keen to do it too.
“I have never hidden behind the fact that I personally would love to do it,” Max told The Sun.
“I love the boys, the band, the buzz, the fans, the music…
“I love it all. I would love to do it again.”
Manchester-born Max explained he often speaks to his former band-mate Tom, and revealed he thought the idea was “cool”.

“If it happens, it happens,” the singer told him.
Max went on to say that he believes Tom would jump at the opportunity “tomorrow”, despite everything he’s got on his plate.
Tom is battling an aggressive form of brain tumour called a glioblastoma, which tragically has a typical life expectancy of between three to 18 months after initial diagnosis.
