The on-screen Conklin siblings latest outing comes just a week after their Prime Video series aired it’s season two finale, which ended with both of them in relationships.
In a recent interview (pre-strike) about the show, Lola opened up about learning a lot about love through her character Belly.
“It’s helped me have a better understanding of love in [how] it addresses romantic love, familial love, friendship, self love, every form of love in such a meaningful and in-depth way,” she told Teen Vogue. “I’ve learned a lot from Belly and I hope that people also feel that and can feel the love and learn from the love on the show. A lot of love went into the project and a lot of love came out of it.”
If you missed it, The Summer I Turned Pretty will in fact be returning for a third season, but it may be awhile with both the WGA and the SAG-AFTRA strikes still going on amid attempts at contract negotiations with the AMPTP.
