The Queen, 95, has tested positive for Covid, with the news breaking this morning. Piers Morgan, 56, has taken to Twitter to share his concern for the Queen, calling it a “very worrying time for Britain”.

Piers posted a picture of the Queen along with a message in view of his 7.9 million followers.
He penned: “Wishing Her Majesty, The Queen a full & speedy recovery from COVID-19.
“Worrying for any 95-year-old person to catch this virus, and a very worrying time for Britain when it’s our Monarch.
“Good luck, Ma’am.”
Many social media users took to the comments to share their concern for the Queen.
Sunflow08593559 said: “Wishing her Majesty a full recovery.
“What an amazing person she has been throughout the decades, never put a foot wrong.
“Wish she would step down so that she can have her well earned rest and see her son get crowned.”
Miss_Bylinski added: “My 92 year old mother caught it and recovered. (sic)
“She was fully vaccinated and her symptoms were very mild, but it did drag on a bit but was like a cold really.
“She will bounce back, she has access to probably the very best medics in the UK!”
DaveTheRave6132 commented: “Please get well your majesty. We need you to make a full recovery!”
Buckingham Palace announced that the Queen had tested positive for Covid late this morning.
The statement said she was experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms” but expects to continue “light duties” at Windsor over the coming week, according to the Palace.
It continued: “She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines.”
The Queen had been in contact with her eldest, Prince Charles, who had tested positive for Covid last week.
It has been understood that a number of people tested positive at Windsor Castle, where the Queen resides.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson tweeted: “I’m sure I speak for everyone in wishing Her Majesty The Queen a swift recovery from Covid and a rapid return to vibrant good health.”
The announcement comes weeks after the UK’s longest-reigning monarch reached her Platinum Jubilee of 70 years on February 6.
On the eve of her Jubilee, she carried out her first major public engagement for more than three months, meeting charity workers at Sandringham House.
