Frederick Anderson called his fall collection “rebirth,” musing on his childhood summers at the Joffrey Ballet, calling it a way of life.
“It’s my soul and inspiration,” he explained. “It exists in every dance move I made, and now every garment I design in my collection. Just as I have had many rebirths, so will the city I love.”
Anderson showed pieces with a lot of texture, like nubby tweed tops and bottoms, leather culottes, chunky knits and a button-up lace duster over a houndstooth pant, all his take on a modern urban wardrobe.
