IT can be expensive getting your nails and eyebrows done – not to mention paying for hair removal.
But, more often than not, leaving these jobs to the pros is probably better than trying to tackle them yourself at home. And this is a lesson Mary Beth Wilhelm learned the hard way.
Taking to her social media account, the blonde confessed she knew it was most likely a terrible decision, but ultimately went ahead with waxing her bikini line at home.
In a video shared on TikTok, she told the camera: “This is probably a bad idea but I’m gonna wax my crotch at home.”
She then produced a box of wax and showed off the purple wax inside before saying: “It’s really pretty.”
Praying as she put the wax on her bikini line, she then ripped the strip off in one go.

Mary Beth then placed a circular make-up mirror on the floor to be able to see what she was doing as she attempted to rip off another strip of wax.
In one scene, she was left in terrible pain as she clutched the purple strip to examine it.
“It’s like ripping a bandaid off,” she went on to say in a bid to hype herself up. “You can do it, you can do it, you can do it.”
Not blinking, she went on: “I shouldn’t have put it right there, I shouldn’t have put it there…”

She was then stuck in a loop while trying to count up to three as she simply kept repeating the number one.
Ripping another piece off, she said: “I have elephant skin down there.”
Moving all around the room, she sang all kinds of songs to get through the pain before moving on to waxing her leg.
In the caption, she told viewers: “NEVER AGAIN.”
People flocked to the comments to share their thoughts as one wrote: “I love that you wore tennis shoes knowing this was going to be a workout!”
Another said: “This is the funniest video to be posted on the internet,” followed by a crying with laughter emoji.
A third shared: “I can’t breathe! I’m sweating for you.
"I know you were checking for a lip every time you pulled a piece of wax!”
“I just knowwwww you were sweating profusely OUCH,” another said, to which TikTok user @livinwithmb replied: “NOT A SINGLE PORE WAS DRY”.
