WHEN it comes to cosmetic surgery, it appears that you can pretty much get anything nipped and tucked these days.
One recent plastic surgery trend, which is proving popular on social media, is getting a Brazilian Bum Lift, also known as a BBL.
A BBL is a popular cosmetic procedure that involves the transfer of fat to help create more fullness in your backside.
The surgeon will use liposuction to remove fat from other areas of your body, such as your hips, stomach, and thighs, which is then injected into the skin, to create a more rounded, full look.
One woman, Rosie Clarke, revealed that she had a BBL but had no idea about three side effects.
Rosie revealed that she wasn’t aware that she could still put on weight after the procedure, had no clue that none of her clothes would fit her and that she would become addicted to the surgery.

She took to TikTok to open up about the surgery and her afterthoughts, as she posted a clip with the caption ‘For the girls wanting a BBL. Yes you can have lipo and get fat again bahaha but it also means your a** get HUGE’.
She said: “Here are three things I wish someone had told me before having a BBL.
“It isn’t permanent – you’ve got to maintain your results and even if you don't think you’re getting bigger after the lipo [liposuction], you definitely are – don’t believe the mirror, do believe the scales and how your clothes fit you.
“I was so shocked – I thought ‘I’m so skinny still, I can eat as much as I want’ – I can’t eat as much as I want, I wish I realised that.

“The next thing I wish someone had said – it is so much more expensive than you think it is going to be.
“There are so many other things that you need to pay for and nothing will ever fit you ever again, and it’s so annoying.
“And then the third thing I wish someone had told me before is that you're going to want a second round.
“The first round is great, you love your results, but it is an addiction, you’ll want to go bigger”.

A third commented: “Do you have any issues with the areas that were lipoed?” to which Rosie confirmed “I have heaps of scar tissue but I got fat again and I can’t see it that bad hahahhaha”.
Whilst someone else noted: “By no means do I mean to sound rude, but if you did your research prior these are common things the bbl community talks about (IG & FB groups)” to which Rosie admitted “Oh I probably had read this but I was like look how skinny I am and how I can’t gain weight and then boom.
