AS their big day approaches, women will often spend thousands of pounds to look perfect.
However, one-bride-to-be decided to save her pennies and bought a stunning wedding dress from Shein – for less than £20.
It's not surprising that women want a low cost option, with the average UK wedding costing over £18,000 – according to Hitched.
The wedding website also revealed that the dress is the second most expensive item, after the venue, with brides spending around £1350 just to walk down the aisle.
Despite this, bride-to-be Karla Reyes still wanted two dresses on her big day so she took a risk on her reception dress – by buying it from Shein.
Unsurprisingly, she was a little nervous about the heavily discounted dress and previously admitted on Tiktok: "Upon browsing the site, I [happened] upon this dress. I love how it looks on the model but [I'm] unsure if it will fit me since I'm small."

However, it looks like the bride's gamble paid off as she later wore the stunning satin number during a photoshoot and her reception.
Though it cost just a fraction of a normal gown, the dress was incredibly romantic featuring lantern sleeves and embellished with faux pearls.
It also had a gorgeous sweetheart neckline, semi- open back and daring leg slit in the front.
If you weren't already sold on this wedding gown, you will be when you hear how much Karla paid.

Whilst most brides spend thousands of pounds on their dress, she spent just £18 on her stunning gown – and it's still available online.
If that weren't impressive enough, the thrifty bride also bought a drop pendant and earring set for only £2.25.
Karla isn't the only one who is obsessed with her wedding look, as her Tiktok video has been inundated with comments asking where she got the stunning dress.
On Shein, the discounted dress has also received a 4 star rating with many brides sharing photos of them wearing it on their big day.
"Got so many questions [about] where my dress is from!" gushed one bride, adding: "Was little too big. if you wear usually size S, then better size XS! Otherwise very beautiful!"
Another added: "In love with this dress, I used it as wedding dress and it was perfect. It was exactly what I expected!"
Meanwhile, a third bride claimed she felt like a 'princess', saying: "When I decided to look for a wedding dress on this site, I knew I wouldn't make a mistake. I decided at first glance that this is the one I really wanted."
Explaining how comfortable it was, she added: "I felt like a princess because that is actually every woman's dream."
