WE know it's a weird thing to brag about – but we're pretty good at keeping track of what our other halves are up to online.
But while we thought we had it sorted by memorising the exact number of people they follow across every single social media platform, this woman's relationship horror story has got us doubting EVERYTHING.
Earlier this year, TikTok user Gabby explained in a series of viral videos how she was living in America while her now ex-boyfriend was based in the UK2019.
While she was visiting him for six weeks in London, Gabby was scrolling through Instagram when it occurred to her to check her list of blocked contacts.
In a video which has racked up over 2.1 MILLION views, Gabby said: "Something told me to check my blocked list on Instagram.
"And what did I find? A random girl. And what did we have in common? My boyfriend."
As she'd never met the woman before, it didn't take long for Gabby to piece together that her boyfriend had gone onto the app and blocked the woman he was cheating on her with.
She captioned the clip: "They get sneaky my friends."
At first, he tried to tell Gabby that this girl was "crazy" and wanted to break them up – but he later confessed and she got a train to stay with his parents.
In a series of follow-up videos, she explained how he talked her out of messaging the girl because she already thought Gabby was "crazy" and they met up the following day to watch Hamilton in the West End.
What did I find? A random girl. And what did we have in common? My boyfriend
As it was so out-of-character for him, Gabby decided to forgive her ex and the pair got engaged in 2020.
But one week after her life-changing move to the UK, she found out he'd been messaging another girl on Instagram again.
After expressing their sympathy for Gabby, viewers were quick check their own social media profiles.
One replied: "When I say I RAN to my blocked list."
"My ex husband did this," another added. "And now they're together."
A third said: "My ex had me blocked on his social media accounts that I didn't know existed."
