A fashionista has revealed that she suffered a wardrobe malfunction while attempting to make a TikTok video in the ocean wearing her new Shein bikini.
Meghan (@meghanalex) has garnered over 2,000 followers on the social media platform where she regularly posts fashion and travel content.
She bought a white tie-front bikini from Shein and a matching cover-up ahead of her vacation.
She teamed the look with coordinating sandals and aviator sunglasses from Walmart for her trip to the beach.
The trendsetter looked in good spirits before getting into the water with her friends.
Meghan said: “I wanted to make a cute TikTok like what everyone does in the ocean and hopefully not drop my phone.
“We’ve been out in the water for a couple of minutes and I stood up.
“We realized that my new Shein bikini is completely see-through, so that’s how today is going”
She was visibly frustrated as she got out of the water and walked back to her room to change into a different swimsuit.

“Also I got stung by a jellyfish apparently today is not my day,” she said.
Meghan hit back at people voicing their opinions about the situation in a follow-up video.
Repeating a comment from someone else, the text over the video read: “I would never go into the ocean with a white Shein bikini without making sure it’s not see-through first.”
Meghan replied: “Okay well that’s you, but on the hand me? I’m going to turn up.”
She captioned the post: “Maybe should’ve checked this time lol. Whoops!”
Meghan’s post went viral amid other TikTokers taking to the social media platform to vent about their own wardrobe malfunctions.
One woman said hot girl summer was “ruined” after she unknowingly packed skimpy swimwear for a family vacation.
She bought a “super cute” green bikini set from Shein without realizing that they had floss bottoms.
Another woman said she was forced to turn her maxi skirt into a dress after a top she bought from Shein snapped while she was out in public.
