Lady Kitty Spencer, 31, is the niece of Diana, Princess of Wales. Her husband, Michael Lewis, 63, is 32 years Kitty’s senior. The fashion tycoon was born in South Africa and is now a multi-millionaire. He reportedly proposed to Lady Kitty with a diamond ring now estimated to be worth up to £300,000.
The couple went public with their relationship during a stroll through New York City in May 2019.
They were later seen kissing after leaving Club 55 in St Tropez in August 2019.
Lady Kitty was seen wearing an emerald cut diamond ring with an estimated 30 carats of “flawless” diamonds.
Appraiser Oliver Horner from Prestige Pawnbrokers of Channel 4’s Posh Paw, said: “This gorgeous full hoop diamond full band engagement ring is of extremely high quality.
“The full band is set with large emerald-cut diamonds, each stone looks to be approximately one and a half carats and I would estimate the total diamond weight of the ring to be between 25 and 30 carats.
“Judging from the image the diamonds look to be of exceptional quality and I estimate a clarity grade to be between flawless and VVS1 and to be of D to F colour which is the very best.
“I believe a ring of this exceptional quality would have cost between £200,000 and £300,000, maybe even more given the provenance of such a piece.”
In July 2021, Lady Kitty Spencer married her husband Michael Lewis in a lavish three-day wedding in Italy.
Lady Kitty had multiple gowns for the event and revealed more pictures of her stunning engagement ring.
The photos were shared by Peter Norman Jewelers, who designed and handcrafted the beautiful platinum ring.
In the photo’s caption, they revealed that the “platinum handcrafted ring” featured “a large emerald diamond surrounded by French cut rubies with diamond baguette accents”.
The platinum design is just one of many, as the ring is also available in 18K yellow gold, 18K white gold or 18K rose gold.
It can also come with a selection of different gemstones or diamonds.
Royal fans clearly liked the ring, as one social media user @tooka_jewelry_design commented with a string of hearts.
Another fan, @_siyaalgemscollection called it: “Perfection”.
At her wedding, Kitty was walked down the aisle by her brothers, Louis, Viscount Althorp and Samuel Aitken.
This was instead of her father, Charles Spencer.
The bride was full of admiration for her brothers, as she later paid tribute to them in a heartwarming message.
“The proudest moment of my life, without a doubt, was having my brothers walk me down the aisle,” she said.
“Thank you to our family and friends for the most unforgettable weekend filled with more love and laughter and happiness than I have ever known.”
Kitty’s sister, Amelia Spencer, wore a gorgeous bridesmaid dress.
Amelia, who is the daughter of Earl Spencer and Victoria Aitken, looked elegant in the blush pink Dolce & Gabbana number, which matched the bride’s equally stunning Dolce & Gabbana wedding dress.
