Supreme and Nike are scheduled to reunite in a significant way this year, this time curating a brand new assortment of SB Dunk Lows that honor the brand’s iconic star-clad collection from 2003. One of the entries — the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low “Hyper Blue” — has just revealed itself by way of detailed imagery.
This installment is chopped down to a low profile, a noticeable deviation from the ‘03 variations which were high-slung, but it keeps much of the same design language and materials as the OGs. Uppers are constructed with smooth leather toe boxes, quarter panels and ankle collars, all of which are backdropped in clean white, and paired next to croc-skinned overlays dripped in its potent titular hue. Gilded accents are pronounced on the quarters via its all-over stars patterns, as well as on the heel’s Nike lettering and Supreme branding that make up the metallic lace dubraes.
Laces contrast with stark black exteriors, and come detailed with Supreme’s “World Famous” motto split between the lace tips. In addition, the BOGO-colored insoles are graced with co-branded logos, and the “World Famous” phrase reappears on the hang tag that comes included with the kicks.
Supreme and Nike have yet to confirm an official release date and pricing, but expect them to arrive within the coming months.
Elsewhere in sneaker news, the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High “Cosmic Fuchsia” is dropping soon.
