A mother-of-three who stands at 6ft 3in tall says she’s gone from being insecure about her towering height to being ‘worshipped like a goddess’ over her seemingly never-ending legs.
Lizzy Groombridge, 27, from Camborne, Cornwall, says she spent years feeling embarrassed about her height after being labelled a ‘lanky beanpole’ by cruel bullies in school – as she gradually became taller than friends, family and even her dad by the age of just 13.
However, Lizzy says she’s now having the last laugh, having embraced her height and become a social media sensation – with her OnlyFans account seeing her earn ten times what she used to as a carer.

The mother-of-three says she was bullied at school for being the tallest girl in her class at school in Camborne, Cornwall – and was the tallest in her family from the age of 13
Since Lizzy stands 4 inches taller than her 5ft 11in boyfriend of three years, Nick Coles, she admits the couple’s height difference made her ‘uncomfortable’ at first.
The couple say they now ignore ‘comments’ while out together and Nick, 33, even encourages her to wear heels that leave her a staggering 6ft 6in tall.
And while Nick admits he at first felt ‘insecure or paranoid’ by the attention Lizzy attracts online he now sees it positively ‘because she’s his’.
He says: ‘She’s an amazing mum and girlfriend. The height difference, though noticeable, never bothers me as she’s unique and I love that.’
Lizzy says she was conscious of the height difference when the couple first started dating but not any more: ‘He had never had a taller girlfriend before and stereotypically the man is supposed to be the taller one so it used to make me feel quite embarrassed and silly.
‘But we don’t mind the height difference anymore and he likes when I wear heels – people will comment about how much taller I am but it doesn’t bother us.
The 27-year-old is so tall that when she’s sometimes can’t fit through doors ‘without ducking’ and her growth spurt started in her early teens.
‘In school people would call me beanpole or lanky and it made me really embarrassed and shy.
‘I used to avoid wearing heels because a lot of my friends are only around 5ft 3in and with my boyfriend the height difference was a bit uncomfortable at first too.

However, now a mother-of-three, Lizzy says social media has transformed how she feels about her height, saying: ‘TikTok has helped me embrace my height – I’ve got 127,000 followers on there who call me “queen” and “goddess” and worship me because of my height, so now I love being tall.
‘I’ve made my own hashtag of my nickname ‘Lizzy long legs’ and that’s got nearly ten million views.’
Her seemingly never-ending growth spurt that put her at 6ft 3in caused her lots of problems over the years trying to find clothes that fit properly.
Lizzy said: ‘By 13 years old I was a lot taller than most of the boys in my class at school as well as all of the girls and my family members.
Her partner Nick says the height difference between them ‘though noticeable, never bothers me as she’s unique and I love that.’
‘From 16 years old upwards I’ve always been noticed for my height because you don’t get a lot of women as tall as me, especially where I live.
‘Getting clothes that fit properly has always been a nightmare – I’m a size ten on the waist but even tall jeans don’t come close to the length of my legs.
‘A lot of places don’t even stock their tallest sizes in store, which I think is very unfair. I live in skirts most of the time because they’re easier to get but even they are quite short on me.’
The mum-of-three took a break from her old job in care to focus on raising her children, Rhuben, nine, Logan, six, and Skyla, one, after the birth of her youngest baby.
However, once her height-focused social media pages took off – posting videos and hosting Q&As about what it’s like being a tall woman – she found a new career path profiting from her height.
Not only is she paid for her viral TikToks and requested videos but she also set up an Only Fans account last October to cash in on her online popularity as ‘Lizzy long legs’.

Lizzy was noticeably tall from a young age, overtaking all of her friends and immediate family members, including her 6ft dad, by the age of 13
Boyfriend Nick says: ‘I’m proud of the beautiful confident girl she’s blossomed into. Some people expect me to be insecure or paranoid by the attention she attracts online but I see it positively because she’s mine.’
Soon she found herself earning tens of thousands in just six months and no longer needing to return to her nine-to-five working in care.
The Amazonian model now hopes to put her popularity on social media to use to open a women’s clothing business for tall women who struggle to find clothes like her.
Lizzy said: ‘I make good money through social media thanks to my height – I get paid for my Instagram posts and TikTok videos and even get video requests like standing in a doorway.
‘I also have an Only Fans account which took off really quickly once I set it up and I’ve been in the top two percent of earners in the last six months.
Lizzy now hopes to put her popularity on social media to use to open a women’s clothing business for tall women who struggle to find clothes like her – she says jeans in the tall range of major brands are ‘never long enough’
‘In that time I’ve earnt tens of thousands plus been sent around £3,000 worth of gifts from fans, like heels to wear in my posts.
‘In my old job in care, working part time because of my children, I used to earn £600 a month (£3,600 in six months) – so I’m earning almost ten times as much now from home.
‘It’s crazy but there’s a massive market for really tall girls. I want to turn my nickname and hashtag into a brand name and a business selling merchandise and eventually women’s clothing for tall girls like me.’
Nick adds that the couple are delighted by the unexpected way her career has taken off: ‘I’m proud of the beautiful confident girl she’s blossomed into. Some people expect me to be insecure or paranoid by the attention she attracts online but I see it positively because she’s mine.
‘She empowers other people, embraces who she is and makes a living in maybe an unconventional way but a beneficial way and nothing means more to her than providing for her children.’
