Former Emmerdale star Sheree Murphy has revealed that her teenage daughter was scammed out of £280 after she was sold fake tickets for Adele’s concert in Hyde Park this weekend.
TV and radio star Murphy, 46, who shares daughters Ruby, 18, Matilda, 13, and 10-year-old Dolly with ex Liverpool star Harry Kewell, took to Twitter to reveal the family had been ripped off, saying they’ve now asked the police to investigate.
Murphy tweeted her 179,000 followers about the alleged fraud, directly approaching the person who she claims had taken her daughter’s money, saying: ‘She gave you a chance to give the money back but you’ve blocked her. You can DM me now to sort it or I will go to the police.’

Adele performed to 65,000 fans in Hyde Park this weekend at two BST concerts. The star was supported by all an female line-up, including Gabrielle, Self Esteem and country singer Kasey Musgraves.
Hits Radio presenter Murphy was flooded with messages of support after tweeting about her daughter’s plight, including from Dragon’s Den star Steven Bartlett, who offered to buy new tickets for a future performance by Adele.
The entrepreneur told her: ‘Really sorry to hear about this – if your daughter wants to go to another show or another Adele show anytime, just let me know and I’ll arrange it for her at no cost x.’
Other revealed that they’d had similar negative experiences in the past.
@aslightreturn shared: ‘It’s modern life, some people are just heartless. Someone tried to scam me today on Instagram, fortunately, I saw it coming. Horrible.’

Later, Murphy revealed that the alleged scammer had blocked her following her tweet, writing: ‘No surprise! Thanks for all your messages and help…we’ve contacted the police now.’
