Actress Chloe Bennet has announced she’s been diagnosed with COVID-19.
On New Year’s Eve, the “Agents of SHIELD” star shared the news on her Instagram Stories that she and several family members have contracted the virus.
“On Christmas morning I woke up with a high fever, and unable to breathe,” she wrote. “I got tested, and I’m positive for COVID-19… it’s been a rough week to say the least.”
The 28-year-old actress added that “multiple members” of her family also tested positive and are “battling it out together.”
Bennet wrote that she wants to “iterate to anyone who still may not be taking COVID seriously, please please please f—king do.”
“I pride myself on staying healthy, I always wore a mask, social distanced and took all the necessary precautions and still got VERY sick,” she added before ending, “If it can happen to me it can happen to you.”
