Aldi reinvents sell-out velvet arm chair with on-trend gold frame

If you home is in need of a little refresh but you don’t have the budget for designer furniture, Aldi is back with some new pieces.

Last year, a scallop velvet arm chair sold out and with the fabric still on trend, the supermarket is bringing back another version.

It’s been redesigned slightly with a brushed gold-effect frame on the bottom.

The chair comes in a blush shade and there was also an olive shade, but sadly it’s already sold out.

You might think you’ve seen this one before because it is pretty similar to MADE’s accent armchair, costing £599, and Next’s Holborn Accent Chair With Brass Legs, priced at £299.

The Aldi version comes in much cheaper though at £129.99.

It is available to buy exclusively online now, so don’t try looking for it in your local store.

You will have to pay delivery though, which is an extra £9.95 for large items.

The description says: ‘Style your home with this statement piece. The Kirkton House Pink Arm Chair is the perfect way to revamp your home, with its gold effect legs and frame it will add a contemporary modern touch.

‘Place in living room or bedroom, this seat will encourage you to take some much needed relaxation time.’

The latest homeware release also includes a rattan mirror for £14.99, compared to £79 for a similar design at MADE, and a wicker footstool for £19.99, which is perfect for putting your feet up as you relax in your new chair.

Of course, as with all Aldi special buys, you’ll only be able to get one while stocks last.
