Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll be familiar with the Netflix hit series, Bridgerton.
Starring Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page, the smash hit period drama hit record numbers following its release in December 2020, and we don't have long to wait until it returns for a second season.
And ahead of the show's eagerly anticipated second season, Princess Diana's brother Charles Spencer has praised the surprise connection to his late sister.
Back in December, only days after the show debuted on the streaming platform, creator Chris Van Dusen revealed on Twitter that there was direct link to Princess Diana within the show – produced by Shonda Rhimes.

He explained that the Bridgerton family home had been inspired by the late Princess of Wales' family home, Althorp House.
Chris said: "The interior of Bridgerton House was inspired by my visit to Althorp when I was developing the show."
The grade II listed stately home and estate is based in Northamptonshire and is where the Spencer family – including Diana and her younger brother Charles Spencer – grew up.
Boasting a whopping 13,000 acres of land, it's an incredible property so it's unsurprising that the Bridgerton boss drew so much inspiration from it.
He added on Twitter: "Elegance. Opulence. And that #staircase"
At the time, the tweet didn't attract much attention, but this week the post caught the eye of Charles.
Retweeting it to his followers, Charles added: "Just seen this, below – such a compliment to those of my family who went before me, making @AlthorpHouse what it still is today. #bridgerton"
The youngest of the Spencer clan, Charles, 57, inherited the stunning Althorp House estate back in 1992.
Previously owned by father Earl John Spencer, the property boasts an incredible 90 rooms and is also where Princess Diana was buried following her death in 1997.
If Charles is a fan of the period show, he won't be the only royal tuning into the new series. The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, has previously admitted she is "obsessed".

The mum of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie made no secret of her love of the Netflix series, saying she has even watched it all the way through twice.
She said: "I adored Bridgerton so much that I watched it twice, deliberately. I'm obsessed with it.
"I definitely will be talking to [show producer] Shondaland about making [Her Heart For A Compass, a romance novel] into a TV series."
