If staying at Cinderella’s castle suite in the Magic Kingdom in Disney World is a top item on your bucket list, you are definitely not alone. The ultra-exclusive suite, which is available to stay in by invitation only (or by winning a contest), has been somewhat of an elusive thing over the years. Disney rarely offers glances inside the private suite, and it’s not even available for celebrities to rent. But Disney recently did us all a solid when it shared a video tour of the suite on its official TikTok account!
The video takes you inside the beautiful yet frequently unused area inside the castle at Walt Disney World. The suite, which was originally designed as an apartment for Walt Disney before he died, features details fit for royalty like a grand fireplace, stained-glass windows, a huge bathtub, crown-shaped chandeliers, and, of course, sweeping views of the Magic Kingdom park. There’s also the mosaic tile display of Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage outside the room; two ornate, wood-framed beds engraved with a “C” (which actually stands for Prince Charming, since it was his place first); and a light-up ceiling that resembles the night sky above the bathtub.
At the end of the video, Disney reveals one more secret: when you check out, you get to take a glass slipper keepsake home with you! Seriously, it’s like something out of a dream. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be busy rewatching this video over and over again until my wish comes true and I can stay in this royal suite for real.
