Forever cool girl Maisie Williams has never been one to shy away from changing up her hairstyle, be it platinum blonde locks paired with matching bleached brows or a short feathered pixie crop.
It’s no surprise, then, that her latest haircut – a super short buzz cut that perfectly complements her bone structure and suits her down to a tee – is keeping in line with that theme. Though, it’s definitely a far cry from the lengthy dark brunette tresses of her Game of Thrones character Arya Stark.
The 25 year old’s hair is also now back to her (we assume) natural mid brunette shade, with her brows having been dyed darker once again to match the shorter ‘do.
For the big reveal Maisie shared a grid post of her new hairstyle to her 10.1 million Instagram followers, writing, “Washing hair with facewash > #3in1girlie”, and naturally many of her fans were quick to shower her new look with compliments.
“Wow, the buzz cut looks amazing on you,” one wrote in the comments section of Maisie’s Instagram post, as another fan agreed, “Love this look!”
Meanwhile a third follower gushed, “You have a lovely shaped bonce!” as a fourth sounded off with, “SHE IS THE MOMENT.”
Of course, Maisie’s new look isn’t the only edgy hair transformation to come out of celebville in the past week. Kourtney Kardashian also unveiled a dramatic black full fringed look that fans hailed her “vampire era”.
In a video posted to her TikTok account, the 43 year old can be seen with a sleek black ponytail paired with a sharp full fringe, ultra long spidery lashes and a glossy red lip, giving us Morticia Addams vibes.
In fact, we can’t remember a time when we saw such a striking beauty look on Kourt, who usually keeps things fresh and nude-toned when it comes to makeup, sometimes stretching to a smokey eye when she’s on the red carpet. And while she didn’t confirm what this glam-goth ensemble was in aid of, the clip has already racked up more than 600,000 likes and 4,000 comments.
“I didn’t know who this was at first,” one shocked fan commented, as another quipped, “Kourtney Cullen,” in a nod to the Twilight series.
