I don’t know how to tell her mother.
I’m friends with my granddaughter’s neighbour who lives in the flat above and she discreetly told me she had seen a lot of single men visiting in the middle of the day.
I’ve now found her profile on two escort sites.
She describes herself as available for meeting in cars, dogging and even overnight stays.
I’m 76, she is only 19 and when I asked her why she had so many male visitors, her answer sounded suspicious.
If she won’t be honest with me, what can I do?

DEIDRE SAYS: Rather than tell your daughter about all this, try talking to your granddaughter again.
Explain you have seen her on these sites and you know what she is doing.
Say you are concerned for her safety and sexual health.
Tell her the neighbours suspect she is prostituting herself.
Ask her if there is anything she needs help with. Is someone forcing her into sex work?
And let her know she can always come to you if she needs someone to talk to.
