The Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood has tied the knot with his girlfriend Melissa Spalding this week.
The five-star Anassa, where Paul and Melissa married, is a luxury hotel resort on the Mediterranean shores of Cyprus. Nestled amidst lush greenery, this multi-award-winning hotel boasts a stunning white-washed facade and cascades down to the sandy shores of Chrysochou Bay.
With 166 low-rise rooms and suites, a double room at the hotel will set you back €454 (£390) in low season and from €490 (£421) in high. The stunning interiors are styled in soothing neutral shades with natural materials used throughout including local stone, marble, whitewashed wood and white textiles.
Many have wraparound windows and doors to balconies or private sun terraces that look out over the sea or the natural beauty of the Akamas.
Paul, 57, has been in a relationship with the 39 year old pub landlady for three years, and it is said that they got engaged quietly in 2022. The couple was recently spotted on a beach near the five-star Cyprus venue, enjoying some sun and relaxation with their loved ones.
Paul was seen donning bright orange swimming trunks as he took a dip in the sea to cool off. According to sources, the wedding is expected to have around 75 guests, including celebrity friends like fellow show judge Prue Leith.
Paul and Melissa's relationship took a step forward when she moved into his 18th-century farmhouse. This move followed the sale of the pub, The Chequers Inn in Smarden, Kent, where Melissa had been living.
Friends of the couple have described them as "madly in love," and they spent a lot of time together during the lockdowns, which strengthened their bond.
Their relationship initially began with some secrecy. They confirmed it in December 2019 after initially denying rumours of a romance when their friendship was revealed in August 2019 following Paul's split from Summer Monteys-Fullam.
