The Dragon’s Den is back with another season to welcome the up-and-coming entrepreneurs to show off their business ideas. The 19th season of the Dragon’s Den kicked off last January 6, 2022. The British reality TV business show was presented by Evan Davis and was based on an original Japanese series. For those who are not familiar, the show allows numerous entrepreneurs to present their business ideas to the Dragons which comprised of five wealthy investors who will act as panels. It is basically a show where up-and-coming entrepreneurs can pitch their business ideas to ask for investments from the Dragons in exchange of a stake in their company.
The Dragon’s Den have five wealthy Dragons namely Peter Jones, Touker Souleyman, Deborah Meaden, Sara Davies and their latest recruit Steven Bartlett. These Dragons have millions to invest in different types of business, so how much money do these five currently have?

5 Sara Davies

Sara Davies has about $50 million of net worth. Sara made a fortune in finding the gap in the crafting business. She is one of the newest members in the panel who is the founder and the owner of the company Crafter’s Companion which is a company that she started while she was still a student at a university. Her massive success can be credited to The Enveloper which is a tool that helped make and design envelopes in your own home. The unit has sold about 300,000 units in just six months thanks to Ideal World shopping channel.
4 Deborah Meaden

Deborah Meaden has about $53 million of net worth. The success of Meaden lies in her success in the fashion industry. She has been pretty meticulous and strategic when it comes to building her empire which she started at a very young age. While she was still studying college, she was already keen on starting her own business which she did at nineteen years old when she started her own own glass and ceramics business in Italy. She then returned to UK to become a shareholder in Weststar Holidays which she liquidated in 2007 and was valued at around $25 million. She then moved over to the fashion industry where she took over the Fox Brothers in 2009 and finally launched the clothesmaker The Merchant Fox in 2011.
3 Steven Bartlett

Steven Bartlett has about $96 million of net worth. He is the youngest Dragon in the den at 28 years old and is the founder and the former CEO of a social media marketing agency called The Social Chain which he started in his bedroom in Manchester when he was only 22 years old. He made a ton of money when he made his agency public which was valued at $400 million during that time. He eventually left the company in December 2020 so he can pursue other ventures which includes a private equity investment firm called Catena Capital.
2 Touker Souleyman

Touker Souleyman has about $270 million of net worth. He owes his massive success when he turned the failing Hawes and Curtis into a successful and worthy business. Touker has followed the footsteps of his family in becoming a businessman and he started working on an accounting firm before he finally branched out on his own. He currently manages a small clothing cash and carry business called Low Profile Group which he expanded in order to acquire other businesses such as shirtmaker Hawes and Curtis and fashion label Ghost. Hawes and Curtis is an inspiring story when he turned the valued with a $670,000 debt of the company into a multi-million company.

Peter Jones is considered to be the richest Dragon on the den with about $660 million of net worth. He has been on the show since 2005 and has accumulated his net worth over time through his investments. Jones has started his career in the technology companies which launched a personalized computer business when he was just about sixteen years old. Since then he has been wired as a high ranking computer businessman with numerous number of investments. He currently owns the Peter Jones TV which is a production team as well as Peter Jones Enterprise Academy who helps budding entrepreneurs. When he’s not at the Den, he is busy managing his businesses such as Red Letter Days which sells a one-off day experiences for celebrations.
