Kate Middleton's stepped out today in a chic khaki animal print dress as she visited Shout, to meet with clinical supervisors, volunteers and fundraisers to thank them for their invaluable efforts to ensure that vital mental health support is available across the UK at any time of day or night.
Kate, who turned 40 this month, has certainly developed her own signature style in recent years, and seems to be growing with confidence and maturity at each new outing we see of her.
Opting for a stunning midi dress by Derek Lam 10 Crosby, featuring a classic pussy bow blouse detail and floaty tiered hem, it may not seem like a bold choice to you or I – but in fact this leopard print option for our future Queen just reinstates the fact that The Duchess is stepping up her style game and making confident choices when it comes to her wardrobe.

The Duchess Of Cambridge chose a designer we've not seen her in before, with this £355 Derek Lam dress looking absolutely sensational on a cold January morning.
Kate exceptionally manages to stick to the Royal protocol in this look, that includes a modest length, long sleeves and a high neck line, but still gives it a fashionable twist with the print, colour and accessories.
This dress, which is currently available on The Outnet for 50% – is on sale for keen shoppers to buy for just £159 – down from £355, but be quick as it's already selling out fast.

Kate's paired her on-trend dress with a pair of black knee high suede boots from Ralph Lauren, which feature a pointed toe and a stiletto heel.
These boots are yet again a bold choice for Kate, who in the past has opted for safer options such as a rounded toe or a lower block heel, and we love seeing her in this super powerful shape and style. They're pretty sexy too.
Whilst we are far more used to seeing The Duchess in a more practical heel, this style is great on her – she's really showing her new found confidence and asserting her authority.
Proving once again Kate isn't all about designer names , she finished off her look with £10 Asos earrings (shop them here) she's worn frequently recently, and cinched in her svelte waist with an oversized black belt.
We absolutely love Kate's look today, and can't wait to see what she will do next.
