Just when you thought Laura Whitmore was done surprising us with hair transformations for this series of Love Island, the ITV2 presenter goes and outdoes herself again.
For last night’s Love Island Aftersun, the 37 year old debuted a brand new shorter haircut complete with a eyelash-skimming fringe. She documented the chop in a series of Instagram videos uploaded to her Stories.
Playing the sun Snip by Divine Goddess, Laura films her hairstylist Sophie Sugarman snipping away at her previously long lengths. She then finishes the Instagram series by showing her followers a look at the finished style: a blunt lob (long bob) featuring plenty of tousled and beachy texture.
LoveIsland Twitter immediately spotted the change to Laura’s hair, and plenty quickly took to the app to tweet their praise for her new look.
“Obsessed with the new hair, u look fab,” wrote one.
A second added: “I am loving @thewhitmore hair tonight!” while a third simply said: “Laura Whitmore’s new hair is FIRE.”
The new look comes just days after Laura jetted into sunny Mallorca with a fresh pastel pink hair transformation ahead of the explosive Casa Amor/Main Villa recoupling which saw Islanders like Tasha Ghouri and Indiyah Polack return with new partners. Considering Laura rarely strays from her signature beachy blonde lengths, the new look was quite the makeover for the mum-of-one – and according to Twitter, a big success.
“Okay Miss Whitmore looks great in this episode with the pink hair!!” wrote one, while a second agreed, saying: “Loving this pink hair on Laura. Need the candy floss emoji back.”
“Laura Whitmore is looking extra pretty tonight, must be the pink in her hair,” a third said.
It has since been revealed that the exact product Laura used to give herself the temporary pink colour is Davines Alchemic Creative Conditioner in Pink, £26 at BeautyBay – perfect for anyone looking to quickly update their hair for festival season.
We wonder what she’ll do for the next recoupling – a perm, perhaps?
