It seems celebs are making the most of hair salons being open as we’re seeing more blonde transformations than ever.
Kendall Rae Knight, who is famous for her six-day stint in the 2018 Love Island villa, is the latest to go the light side as she’s just revealed a new gorgeous honey blonde hue.
Showing off the look on her Instagram grid, Kendall, 29, captions the glamorous selfie: “Hey Blondie!”
She also gives her followers a close-up look at the colour on her Instagram stories.
“On a lighter note… literally. This is my new light hair in a natural light without any sort of filter for those asking,” she says in the short video.
Kendall looks delighted with the results of her salon trip as she basks in the sunshine and runs her fingers through her freshly-dyed lengths. It’s clear she’s opted for a form of balayage, as she’s kept her roots a slightly darker tone, while her ends have been bleached a buttery shade of blonde.
“Another brown to blondie,” one follower notes – clearly their Instagram page is also full of summer-blonde transformations.
“Wow the new hair suits you,” another adds.
Kendall makes a big effort to tag her colourist Catherine Boden in the posts, thanking her for the honey hue.
Though the star has been gradually going a little lighter with her hair, this blonde shade is a stark contrast to her Love Island look. Back then she favoured dark and glossy tresses, which is probably why she was so compared to fellow Islander and glossy brunette, Kady McDermott.
Kendall joins the likes of Marnie Simpson, Vicky Pattison, and Laura Anderson in her venture into lighter locks. All have ditched their darker shades in favour of summer balayages and honey tones.
Vicky exclusively told OK!: “I didn’t know if I was just going to have a hot blonde girl summer, but now I think this could be a permanent change. A hot blonde girl for all seasons? Haha, exactly – well you said it!”
