After purchasing their £3.5 million Essex mansion back in 2019,Mark Wright andMichelle Keegan have taken fans along with them asthey turn their sprawling property into their dream home.
Fromadding a “dream spa” tocreating a his and hers dressing room, the pair have put their all into the renovation project,with Mark even calling the space his “forever home” during an interview with OK!. “I’m loving it. I hope it’s my forever home. It feels incredible,” he said.
And now, Mark and Michelle, who tied the knot back in 2015, have turned their attention to sprucing up their outdoor space now that the summer months are here.
Taking to their dedicated home Instagram account to show off his and Michelle’s latest project, 36 year old Mark revealed that they’d been busy installing a lavish pool in the stunning outdoor space.
As he filmed a lorry transporting material into their space, Mark gave fans a peek inside the incredible garden transformation, with the pool now positioned in the middle of a sprawling lawned area.
Captioning the clip, he wrote: “Just a few more please Rod” alongside a laughing face emoji.
Giving the space a calming feel, the pair have opted to surround the swimming pool with a series of large white tiles. Meanwhile, the remaining space next to the pool looks set to be lawned, with work already underway on growing the greenery.
Eager to get the garden back to its green state, Mark shared a snap of some soil alongside the caption: “Ready for growth!! Finally we will have our garden back to green.”
In an earlier Instagram post, which was posted when work on the swimming pool began last month,Mark opened up about the importance of the outdoor area and told his followers that the “garden means the world” to him and Michelle.
Mark’s latest home update comes after he spoke to OK! about his relationship with Michelleafter filming for his recent BBC show A Wright Family Holiday meant that he was away from home.
"Michelle’s supportive,” he said. “She knows why I was doing it."
“Not only is it work, but at the same time, it’s spending time with my dad and my brother and we’re both so close to our families, so we both know how important it is to get that time with your loved ones. Of course I missed her, I missed her terribly.”
