Mill signed with MMG in 2011 and has released his last five albums under the imprint. According to XXL, fans of the rapper are under the impression that MMG is the target of his grievances and have speculated that rumors of a feud between Meek and Ross could be true.
In May DJ Akademiks hinted on his ‘Off the Record’ that Meek was starting a campaign to get out of his MMG contract.

The artist formally known as Kanye West took similar actions last year when he posted all the pages of his lengthy contract with Universal Music Group while lamenting about his masters.
Megan Thee Stallion also sued her record label, alleging that the contract she had signed with them when she was 20 was “not only entirely unconscionable but ridiculously so.”
