The question on everyone’s lips this week is – should Piers Morgan say sorry to Meghan Markle?
After receiving 41,000 complaints to Ofcom, the former GMB host has defended his right to “free speech” by refusing to back down on comments about the Duchess.
Meghan opened up to Oprah about feeling “silenced” and “not wanting to be alive anymore” when she was working for the Palace.
But some weren’t impressed when Piers said he “doesn’t believe” the account of her time as a working royal.
When Daily Star readers were polled on the topic, around a third (31.3%) of people said they think Piers should say sorry for his comments.
And despite 68.8% of our audience saying an apology isn't needed, some aren’t sad to see the host leaving Good Morning Britain.
While 50.5% of people will miss Piers on the breakfast TV show, 49.5% aren’t bothered that he’s departed from the programme.
So what did Daisy, Jess and Ruby have to say on the controversial topic?
Our models agreed that while everyone should be able to have their own views, you should keep people’s mental health in mind when you have a public platform.
Daisy said: “I think everybody is entitled to an opinion.
“We’re all individuals and we all have different opinions about everything everyday.
“But when it comes to mental health and talking about how you feel personally as an individual, who is anybody else to tell you how you should be feeling?”
The Page 3 star said people who are brave enough to come forward and talk about their mental health shouldn’t have to fear getting “backlash”.
Her sentiments were echoed by Ruby, who said Piers is “entitled to feel how he feels” but should try to be less “insensitive”.
She added: “I don’t really know what he expected from saying that, especially when it’s such a serious topic like mental health.
“It’s not like what she wore or what she said about a certain situation, it’s literally that she doesn’t want to live anymore and that shouldn’t be disregarded.”
While some may argue “free speech” should be protected, Jess says some opinions can be “really, really dangerous”.
Instead of having a spot on primetime TV, she thinks his content would work better on his own channel.
Jess added: “I think what Piers would be best for is his own podcast or YouTube channel. I don’t think he should be on ITV stating his own opinions.”

Piers commented on his Good Morning Britain exit today.
Speaking outside his London, the TV star described his departure from the show as "amicable", adding: "I had a good chat with ITV and we agreed to disagree.
"I'm just going to take it easy and see how we go.
"I believe in freedom of speech, I believe in the right to be allowed to have an opinion. If people want to believe Meghan Markle, that's entirely their right.
"I don't believe almost anything that comes out of her mouth and I think the damage she's done to the British monarchy and to the Queen at a time when Prince Philip is lying in hospital is enormous and frankly contemptible."

He continued: "If I have to fall on my sword for expressing an honestly held opinion about Meghan Markle and that diatribe of bilge that she came out with in that interview, so be it…
"I think it's fair to say, although the woke crowd will think that they've cancelled me, I think they will be rather disappointed when I re-emerge.
"I would call it a temporary hibernation."
The presenter added that he is "always in talks with people".
