One cannot stand engines! Prince Louis covers his ears as loud plane flies over RAF Fairford during his surprise appearance with Kate and William

He has famously declared that he wants to become a pilot like his father one day – but Prince Louis may have to get over his aversion to loud engines first.
The royal, five, joined his parents and siblings on a visit to a military air show in Gloucestershire today.
During the engagement, the family-of-five were taken on a tour of the huge C-17 transporter aircraft – which was used to transport the late Queen’s coffin in the days ahead of her funeral last September.
At one point during the tour, Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Prince William paused by a display board to read about the history of the aircraft.
While standing next to his big sister, the youngster happily spoke with members of the RAF – but his face dropped when he heard a plane take off in the airfield.
The royal paused for a moment before covering his ears with his hands and letting out a small cry.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ youngest son appeared quite upset by the noise and looked around for his parents.
However, Louis was only bothered for a matter of seconds and quickly turned his attention back to the pictures on the display board.
Today wasn’t the first occasion Prince Louis has been bothered by the sound of loud engines – as he grumpily covered his ears at his most recent Trooping the Colour appearance in June.
In May, Prince Louis told a royal fan that he wants to follow in Prince William’s footsteps one day and become a pilot.
Elsewhere, Prince George – who is celebrating his 10th birthday next week – took a particular interest in some of the controllers on board the plane.
The couple’s eldest child beamed with joy during the tour – while his younger brother came to life when he spotted a quadbike.
While he clung to his mother’s side for the beginning of the engagement, Prince Louis happily hopped into the backseat and waved for the cameras outside.

As the family progressed with the tour, Louis preferred to stand next to the vehicle and look out over the airfield outside.
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte listened intently during the engagement and stayed close to her parents. However, she was led astray by her little brother – who was perplexed by something he had seen on the roof of the aircraft.
Prince George was dressed in green chinos and a short-sleeved shirt for the tour while his younger brother looked adorable in a navy jumper and matching shorts.
Princess Charlotte wore a black-and-white striped dress with a Peter Pan-style collar and a white cardigan to keep her protected from the rain.

Both Charlotte and Louis were adorable in their matching navy plimsolls as they braved the rain.
Looking typically chic, Kate, 41, opted for a statement beige Blaze Milano blazer with a white blouse and tailored blue trousers as she explored a plane.
William, 41, and Kate were all smiles when they arrived with their children at the air show, and was greeted by Wing Commander Will Essex.
They were greeted by grey skies that brought heavy rain but there were a few aircraft still in the skies before they arrived.
The event was a return visit for George, who celebrates his 10th birthday on July 22. He was taken to the show by his parents in 2016, aged three, and was pictured wearing ear defenders at the time.
