Prince Philip Memorial: Which of the royals attended and who is missing?

Today almost 2000 special guests have gathered at Westminster Abbey to remember Prince Philip.

After his funeral was restricted by Covid-19 laws in place last year – which left Her Majesty, 95, sat alone – those who were unable to attend have come together to pay their respects.

The day marked the first public outing by Prince Andrew since he settled out of court with Virginia Giuffre, after being accused of sexual assault – which he has denied.

However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not in attendance amid security concerns.

The couple released a statement earlier this year explaining they will not return to the UK without Scotland Yard security, which they have said they would happily privately fund.

The Queen and Prince Philip's four children, Prince Charles, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Princess Anne were all present at the Abbey.

Charles arrived with his wife, Camilla Duchess of Cornwall while Anne was with her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.

Edward was present with his wife Sophie Wessex and their two children, Louise, 18, and James, 14.

Andrew's ex-wife Sarah Ferguson was not in attendance, nor was Peter Phillips' ex-wife Autumn Kelly.

The royal grandchildren were also all in attendance – minus Prince Harry.

William and his wife Kate Middleton were there to support the Queen alongside their eldest children, Prince George, 8 and Princess Charlotte, 6.

Anne's daughter Zara was there with her husband Mike Tindall and their eldest daughter Mia, 8.

Andrew's daughters. Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, were also present with their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Some of the Queen's cousins were also at the ceremony – Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

Members of the foreign royal family including The King and Queen of Norway, The King and Queen of Spain, The King and Queen of Sweden were also present.

The UK's political leaders also arrived to pay their respects, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Chancellor Rishi Sunak sat alongside Liz Truss and Priti Patel.

The First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon, and The First Minister of Wales, Mark Drakeford, could be seen just behind them.

The senior members of the royal family were the last to arrive, followed by the Queen.
