Two-bedroom terrace on market for just £29,000 – with a very fun secret

A TWO-BEDROOM terraced house is on the market for just £29,000 – and it hides a very fun secret.

The new owners will be able to fling open their back doors, take a couple of steps and jump straight into their very own plunge pool.

The vacant property is located in a quiet residential street in Quinton, Birmingham.

It has a large entrance hallway which leads onto a spacious reception room and long kitchen, and then onto a rear storage room.

There are two upstairs bedroom, a family bathroom and separate toilet, and even a double rear garage with service road access.

It is close to several schools and nurseries, Newman University and is within walking distance of Bartley Reservoir.

But the real selling point is the garden out back where artificial grass leads to a greenhouse-style structure where the covered plunge pool lives.

It is fully enclosed, perfect for the British weather, and is surrounded by classic decking.

All this and the house is up for auction with a guide price of just £29,000 – though it is in need of some "cosmetic improvement and modernisation".

Zoopla estimates the average value of a terraced house in the area to be £117,241 – more than four times the guide price for the Winwoods Grove home.

However, while this property may have a low guide price of under £30,000, it is likely to go for more, especially if there is a bidding war.

Royal Estates is selling the house by traditional online auction, with open days to view it this week.

Bidding begins on October 19 at midday and runs until the same time on October 21.

The winning bidder must then complete the sale within 28 days.
