RAP legends Ja Rule and Fat Joe will be going head to head on a Verzuz battle.

News of their encounter comes after the rappers supported hip-hop groups The Lox and Dipset in a Verzuz battle back in August.

When and where is Ja Rule going up against Fat Joe in Verzuz?

Ja Rule and Fat Joe will be engaging in a rap battle on September 14, 2021, at 9pm ET in New York City.

The location of the battle has yet to be revealed by the Verzuz team.

Tickets to see the encounter go down in person will begin selling on September 7.

Fans of the rappers can catch all the action on the Verzuz Instagram page as well as the Triller and FiteTV apps.

What did Ja Rule and Fat Joe say about the Verzuz battle?

Fat Joe shared a photo of the battle’s poster on his Instagram to confirm the encounter, writing: “The price just went ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️ @fatjoe @verzuztv @jarule ????????? #trillerverz.”

Similarly, back in 2020, Ja Rule had previously confessed to HipHopDX that he “loves Verzuz” and if he ever participated, he would want it to “be fun.”

The rapper said: “I love to see artists getting in there and doing the s***—but if I did one, if I did do a Verzuz, I would want my Verzuz to be fun. 

“That’s what Verzuz is supposed to be about—the celebration of music and the art, and the artistry. 

“So, I would want my Verzuz to be fun, and filled with love in the room and s***, and that sort of thing. 

“I’m too old to be in Verzuz beef, and to be in with my team of n*****, all my team of n***** we’re like, ‘Come on, man.’ I’m 44, dog. 

Adding: “Just get a boxing ring and we get in there, and we do that. All this other funny nutty s*** we ain’t doing that, man.”
