BARCELONA have reportedly joined the race to sign Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak, but Arsenal may not be worried just yet,
The Gunners have been linked with Isak since last summer, with Mikel Arteta keen to add forward reinforcements at the end of the campaign.
Now though a battle is on for the 22-year-old Real Sociedad star.
Spanish outlet Sport claim Barcelona would 'love' to sign Isak, who caught the eye of a number of big clubs with his displays for Sweden at Euro 2020.
But in a boost to Arsenal Isak's own comments suggest he would snub Barca in favour of a move to the Premier League.
Speaking to The Independent in November, he revealed: "I am in a good place at the moment, I am very happy, but one day it would be nice to play in England as well.
"They have six or seven of the biggest clubs in the world, it is a very high level, and of course one day it would be an alternative.
"Every player wants to be the best version of themselves and reach the highest possible level.

"I have expectations for myself that I am trying to fulfil, so we’ll see where the journey takes me in future."
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's January exit and the impending departures of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah leave Arsenal in desperate need of a striker.
And SunSport exclusively revealed earlier this month the Gunners were plotting a huge £180million summer revamp.
That includes the signing of Alexander Isak, who has a £75m release clause in his Real Sociedad contract.
Isak has been identified as one of three priority signings come the end of the season.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ruben Neves are the other two included on the three-man wishlist for the upcoming transfer window.
Elsewhere there is long-standing interest in Lille forward Jonathan David.
The 22-year-old Canadian is set to leave France at the end of the season, with moneybags Newcastle also interested in a transfer.
