PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG is set to snub a loan transfer to Al Hilal because he wants to stay in Europe, according to reports.
The Arsenal forward, 32, has not played since December 6 and was stripped of the Emirates captaincy over his latest disciplinary breach.
Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal offered to take him for the rest of the season with an option to buy in the summer.
But according to The Athletic, the Gabon international remains motivated to continue playing at an elite level in one of Europe's top leagues.
Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be interested in signing Aubameyang.
But his mammoth £350,000-a-week wages may prove a stumbling block.
Aubameyang is also said to be training alone, away from the first-team squad and at different times.
That – coupled with a potential transfer before Monday's deadline day – could mean he does not travel to Dubai for Arsenal's warm-weather training on Thursday.
