ARSENAL boast the MOST valuable squad in the world following their summer spending spree.
The Gunners have splashed out over £200million to bring in Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz – though the latter had a horrid time in a headers and volleys challenge in America.
This trio of stars in their early twenties have handed Arsenal a huge boost to their squad's market value, which already contained some prize possessions such as Bukayo Saka.
And that boost has seen Mikel Arteta's squad eclipse Manchester City at the top of the tree for the most valuable squad in world football at £1.051bn, as per Transfermarkt figures.
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola's Treble winners have a not-too-shabby value of £1.034bn.
The top 10 of that list is dominated by Premier League outfits, with all of the "big six" making an appearance.

However, European powerhouses Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona all make appearances too – though none boast a squad of over a billion like the Prem's top two.
PSG come in at third on the list with a squad value of £886million, with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich completing the top five with squads worth £861m and £829m respectively.
Spendthrifts Chelsea rank No6 on the list with a value of £755m, though the continuing summer exodus of players under Mauricio Pochettino is likely to see this value cut further.
LaLiga champions Barcelona come in just behind the Blues at £752m.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool then come in eighth place with a squad value of £735m.
This sees them eclipse bitter rivals Manchester United – set to add Andre Onana to the fold – who have a squad value of £726m.
Finally, completing the top ten are Tottenham with a value of £672m.
While the top 25 boasts much more variety of clubs across mainland Europe, there remains a host of English teams who claim spots.
Newcastle are the most valuable of these, ranking at No11 with a value of £504m.
This sees the Magpies trump Serie A champions Napoli, before Aston Villa wade in at No13.
