Sutton calls Arteta's antics an 'act'
Chris Sutton believed that Mikel Arteta's touchline antics are a "bit of an act".
He told Betting Sites: "There's no doubt Arteta has acted like a clown in the technical area at times, and the punters love all that stuff. They do love it. They love seeing the manager jumping up and around and animated, and in the fourth official’s face.
"I don't and I think it's a bit of an act at times. He'll say something different but the most important thing is what he’s saying in the sanctuary of the dressing room.
"And clearly the messages are getting across and the work he's doing on the training ground is really working with this Arsenal team. But as you know all that jumping around isn't necessary for me."

Carragher on Gunners
Jamie Carragher has played down the impact of Arsenal's draw against Liverpool and believes that fans should not be disappointed.
He told his Sky Sports podcast: "This game [Arsenal's 2-2 draw at Liverpool] was absolutely wonderful and we’ve got six more weeks left of this [title race].
"I have thought all the way through that Man City would just edge it.
"I haven’t changed my opinion after today or even altered it slightly because I still think there will be points dropped from each side, but I think Arsenal will drop more points.
"They go to Man City, Newcastle, West Ham, they’re all difficult games. City have got some difficult ones too and there will be a lot more moments where Arsenal feel like the whole world is watching them.
"The whole football world was watching them today and they weren’t disappointed. They made a few mistakes but all in all Arsenal fans should be pretty happy and proud with that. This is not a time to lose doubt, you can lose or draw here in any season. This is a terror of a game to have in a title run-in."

Liverpool draw 'not disastrous'
Tim Sherwood has heaped praise on Arsenal duo Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka while insisting the two points dropped against Liverpool has not ended the title race.
He told PLP: "Arsenal were in so much control. They popped it around them. Martinelli and Saka were outstanding.
"Odgegaard was controlling things in the middle of the park and they just couldn’t hold.
"It’s wide open now (the Premier League title race) – it might have dented their confidence a little bit, but it’s not disastrous."

REAL STATE
A property firm backed by footie stars Mikel Arteta and Luis Suarez could owe £1.2million to a cash-strapped council.
The firm, linked to some of the biggest names in world football including Uruguay ace Suarez, borrowed £1.25m from Liverpool City Council.
Littlewoods Investment LLP used the council's cash to transform an old industrial building in Liverpool into a trendy office block named the Bunker.
The Bunker, previously described as the "UK's most stylish" office, formed the first part of the regeneration of the famous Littlewoods site next door.
Council bosses want to transform Liverpool into the "Hollywood of the North" and there are hopes that Littlewoods, a sprawling art deco building, can be a part of that vision.
There is no suggestion Arteta, the company or those involved have done anything wrong.

Arteta 'should be furious' with star
Chris Sutton has claimed that Mikel Arteta should be furious with Granit Xhaka for "waking Liverpool up" during their clash.
He told the Daily Mail: "Then Granit Xhaka woke them up. Stupidly so. By barging into Trent Alexander-Arnold and then squaring up to him, he riled up the Anfield crowd. Their animosity was infectious and it brought this Liverpool team to life.
"They were suddenly fuelled by fury and emerged for the second half totally up for it – all thanks to that one moment of misjudgment from Xhaka.
"Mikel Arteta will be furious about that, I’m sure. It was totally unnecessary from Xhaka to give Liverpool a reason to stop playing so passively."

He revealed: “Jussi was my early inspiration.
“The way I position my hands and my legs are very similar to Jussi — because if you see it in people you look up to, it stays forever.”

Good morning Arsenal footy fans
Arsenal want at least £26.5million for wonderkid Folarin Balogun.
And they are braced for a bid from AC Milan.
Balogun has set Ligue 1 alight during his loan spell at Reims, scoring 18 times.
But there may not be room for him at Arsenal next season, and Calciomercato claims Milan are preparing an offer after getting a number off Mikel Arteta.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly hoping to sign Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz, who has been shining on loan at AC Milan.
Italian journalist Carlo Pellegatti said: “The Milan management would like to keep Brahim Diaz, they would like to start a negotiation as if he were a new signing, forgetting the option to buy and buy-back.
“Milan start at 16 million, but there is another variable: it seems that Arteta, the current Arsenal manager, likes the player a lot.
"The Gunners could offer 30 million. In this case the negotiation would become complicated. There are many variables, but Milan would like to keep him.”
Finally, Wolves are still working on a long-term deal for contract rebel Ruben Neves.
The Portuguese midfielder’s deal at Molineux runs out next summer.
However, SunSport understands Wolves are preparing a last-gasp attempt to stop the 26-year-old leaving for a cut-price fee.
Arsenal were previously monitoring the situation, while Manchester United have come close to nabbing the £40m-rated playmaker on two separate occasions.

Chelsea also wanted him and may return with a bid too.

But according to Football Insider, Arsenal are also keen on making a bid and could cough up more cash.

Liverpool point 'great for Gunners'
Roy Keane believes Arsenal should be delighted they escaped Liverpool with a point… despite blowing a two-goal lead.
He said: “It’s extremely difficult, the energy of the stadium. The history of the club. It’s very difficult.
“I think Arsenal should be delighted with a point. [Manchester] City are back in control, but it’s a great point.
“They were 2-0 up and comfortable, but you have to be grateful for what you get out of the place.”

Arsenal 'keen on Diaz deal'
Arsenal are reportedly hoping to sign Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz, who has been shining on loan at AC Milan.

Rising to the Occasion
Aaron Ramsdale said he loved the intimidating atmosphere at Anfield as Arsenal and Liverpool played out a brilliant 2-2 draw.
The keeper was required to make some big saves as the Reds fought back from 0-2 down.
And Ramsdale said: "love the bigger games and I love the fans being there because they help me to feel the pressure and to concentrate more.
“I try to rise to the occasion and enjoy every game and I don’t want this season fighting at the top to be a one-off.
“Everyone at the club wants this to be our first stepping stone, to go again in the Champions League next season and try to balance playing in Europe with challenging in the Premier League.”

Ram-Page
Aaron Ramsdale is confident that Arsenal are still in the driving seat for the title despite surrendering two points at Anfield on Sunday.
The England keeper pulled off a series of sensational late saves to secure a 2-2 draw which keeps them six points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table.
And he insists that no-one will be panicking despite opening the door for Champions City to pip them at the post in the race for the Premier League crown.
He said: “It’s absolutely essential that we focus on the positives of Sunday’s result and that’s what the manager will be saying.
“We’ll look at all the good stuff we did in the first half-to get 2-0 up and though we might have dropped two points at the end this will definitely feel like a very good result when we’ve digested everything.
“We went to Anfield and played really well but we also had to dig in to survive and there’s no better games to be playing in when it means so much to both teams."

Lino Suspended
CONSTANTINE HATZIDAKIS has been suspended by refs boss Howard Webb over accusations he elbowed Liverpool star Andy Robertson during the clash with Arsenal.
The assistant was involved in an extraordinary half-time bust-up with the Scotland international in which he appeared to elbow the left-back in the throat.
Robertson was left raging and Hatzidakis, 38, now faces a lengthy FA ban if found guilty.
While that investigation is ongoing, the refs body PGMOL have confirmed that Hatzidakis will not run the line in any fixtures they cover.
A statement read: “PGMOL will not be appointing Constantine Hatzidakis to fixtures in any of the competition it serves whilst The FA investigates the incident involving the assistant referee and Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson at Anfield.”

Fol On
Reports this morning suggest Folarin Balogun is not willing to go out on loan again will worry Arsenal fans.
The striker has proved his worth with his fantastic loan spell away at Reims.
But with Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah ahead of him in the pecking order, it could be difficult for Arsenal to convince him he has a future at the club next season.
Balogun has 18 goals in 29 appearances in Ligue 1.

Thank you Jesus
Arsenal fans are loving having Jesus back.
It is now three goals since he fought back from his long injury layoff with the Brazilian netting at Anfield and scoring a brace against Leeds.
In total he now has eight goals and five assists in 18 Premier League appearances this season.
The 26-year-old's return coincided with his deputy Eddie Nketiah becoming injured himself.

Zin-King Feeling
Oleksandr Zinchenko appeared to be in tears after being substituted in Arsenal's clash with Liverpool.
Arsenal went two goals ahead at Anfield after 28 minutes, putting them on course to maintain their eight-point gap to Manchester City.
However, a Mohamed Salah goal was later followed up by super sub Roberto Firmino's headed equaliser.
It would prove to be Zinchenko's final part in play, being subbed off for Kieran Tierney a moment later. The Ukrainian could then be seen on the bench with his hands on his face.
He appeared to be upset with his last involvement being one which saw Arsenal lose the chance for an important victory.

The Balogun Dilemma
Arsenal could face a huge dilemma over Folarin Balogun with the in-form striker reportedly unwilling to go out on loan again.
The 21-year-old has made headlines over his incredible scoring streak with Reims in Ligue 1 and now has 18 goals in 29 appearances.
The Athletic report that Balogun would be keen to return to boyhood club Arsenal when his loan expires but wants first-team football.
With both Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah enjoying strong seasons for the Gunners, it could be tough for Balogun to get regular starts.
The club now must decide what to do with the young forward as he enters the final two years of his contract.
