ARSENAL have received a boost in their pursuit of Gabriel Jesus with Man City reported to have dropped their asking price to £45m from £55m.

The Gunners have also been offered £21m defender Manuel Akanji from Borussia Dortmund, SunSport can reveal.

Reports from Germany add that the Gunners are interested in Granit Xhaka's Switzerland team-mate but have concerns over his fitness.

Elsewhere, Arsenal are said to be confident of signing Youri Tielemans while Alexandre Lacazette has joined Lyon.
