Barcelona want to bring legend Javier Mascherano back to club to coach B or youth teams after quitting four-years ago

BARCELONA legend Javier Mascherano could be set for a stunning return to the Nou Camp.

Mascherano, though, would be coming back to Barca as a coach for either the club's B team or one of their youth sides.

That is according to Sport, who claim there is a "consensus" among the Blaugrana hierarchy to reinstate the ex-Liverpool star.

The former midfielder, who also used to play at centre-back, has already kicked off his coaching career as manager of Argentina's Under-20 side.

Mascherano helped Barcelona reach tremendous success during his eight-year stint with the Catalan giants.

The Argentine great won five LaLiga titles, five Copa del Rey trophies, three Spanish Super Cups and two Champions Leagues.
