And there are no shortage of suitors looking to capitalise on the 34-year-old's availability.

David Moyes' side are the standout favourites to secure Giroud's signature at 2/1.

The Hammers are looking to bring in more attacking options after the departure of Sebastien Haller, who left for Ajax in a deal worth £20.25m.

Reports claim Moyes will be given the bulk of those funds to find a replacement for their club-record signing.

AC Milan are the Londoners' closest pursuers at 4/1 with Betfair.

The Serie A leaders have time and again registered their interest in Giroud, who could replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic if the Swede opts against signing a contract extension.

Juventus are priced at 8/1 and that could represent good value given manager Andrea Pirlo recently backed his side to make a move.

Asked about Giroud after his side's 4-1 win over Udinese, Pirlo told DAZN: "He'd be handy!"

Giroud has proven he's still capable of mixing it at the highest level having bagged nine goals in 16 appearances this season.

He enjoyed a mini revival under manager Frank Lampard when starting three-consecutive games on the bounce.

But he's only featured once in Chelsea's last four top-flight fixtures and that could be cause for concern for the Frenchman ahead of Euro 2020.

It will also be of concern to France national team boss Didier Deschamps, who urged Giroud to find a resolution to his current situation at Stamford Bridge.

Deschamps told French radio station RTL: "Olivier Giroud knows it – the situation he’s in today cannot drag on forever. Before March he will have to find another situation than this one."

Betfair Spokesperson, Sam Rosbottom said: "It's understandable if Olivier Giroud is disappointed with the amount of game time he is getting at Chelsea given his track record of scoring goals.

"And according to reports there are a number of clubs looking to add him to their ranks.

"Looking at the betting market, West Ham are the 2/1 favourites to be his next club, while a move to Italy could also be on the cards with AC Milan 4/1 and Juventus 8/1 to sign him."
