SCOTTISH singer Amy Macdonald has seen a 2007 single shoot to the top of Saudi Arabia's Spotify chart… thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, 38, is the most followed person in the world on social media, and his influence has grown further still since joining the Saudi Pro League last year.
TikTok highlights of every game he plays for Al-Nassr go viral, with his latest having unexpected consequences.
Videos set to Scots singer Macdonald's hit "This is the Life" have seen the song gather huge new popularity.
The 2007 track originally reached No28 in the UK singles chart, and even made it to No1 in Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Norway.
Now, sixteen years later, it's reached the Middle East.
