VOYAGE can go. Group 2 winner in his pomp but past his best now and struggled most of last season. First run in a handicap since 2019 but he’s still 5lb above his last winning mark so must roll back the years.

NEWS flash. Trainer has won two of the past five Lincolns and he was impressive in landing a Listed contest here in September. Should be suited by a mile and has a rising star on board taking off a valuable 7lb. Big chance.

DULL Diamond. Poor win strike rate and form tailed off last season before leaving Mark Johnston. Some promise in Dubai last time but needs a lot more for this.

HAN solo. Best over this trip and ran well at Glorious Goodwood off this mark. Was poor twice after that and has left William Haggas. Needs to find his very best to run into the places.
WHAT'S THE STORY 1
FAIRY Story. Last won three years ago and almost landed a Listed win on this card 12 months ago. Has run well fresh but hasn’t run since a poor effort at York last July which is a worry.
MUJTABA 4
ABA go hero. His three wins so far have been nothing special but he is bred to be classy and trainer William Haggas says he’s more than a handicapper. Given the yard’s strong record in this race that says a lot. There’s a lot more to come over this ideal trip.
IRISH ADMIRAL 3
IRISH missed. Has decent form over this trip but at much lower levels. Looks on a fair weight and comes from a top trainer so likely to improve here.
SALEYMM 4
SALE away. Has improved a bundle with two all-weather wins this winter and was very impressive last time at Wolverhampton in November. He’s had a wind op since then and likes this trip. Every chance if repeating that form on turf.
REVICH 3
PRAY for Rev. Ended last season with a good Ayr win and is 1lb lower than his sixth in this race 12 months ago. That gives him a place shout at long odds.

DARK arts. Listed winner over this trip in France, his best form has come in softer but he has a fair weight for this UK debut and trainer David O’Meara won this in 2017 with a newcomer to his yard.

FAME game. Yet to win in the UK and best effort last season came over 7f. Has come down weights but this looks tough.
AMETIST 3
AME believer. Last seen running a cracking third in the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket in September. He’s only 2lb higher here and has few miles on the clock. He won first-up last season and can’t be discounted.
ANOTHER BATT 1
BATT caved. Won in the mud here in October and he’s been best in bottomless conditions. Prefers 7f and needs more rain.
SCOTTISH SUMMIT 1
SUMMIT wrong. Often run well but rarely wins. Was tenth in this last year and that looks about right again.
UNITED FRONT 1
FRONT at back. Solid all-weather performer but has yet to win on turf. He’s down the weights but faces a tall order.

BELLE a bet. Started in Ireland but has really improved since joining Andrew Balding and won the Wolver Lincoln Trial well after traffic problems. Has lots more to offer and a cracking weight here. Major player.
EAGLEWAY 1
WAY off. In good form on the sand but his sole turf win came in a claimer so looks outclassed.
HORTZADAR 3
DAR potential. Good third in this last year in a winless season and he’s 7lb lower now. Could nick a place again at a track he clearly likes.

TE off. Has won a couple of minor races over this trip but has been off since last June and doesn’t look up to this.

BEAR hug. Had just five runs with two wins in lesser class at Nottingham. Must improve on that but it’s early days and he likes this trip.

BLUNT Spear. Won an apprentice race here in November over 7f but has come up short in anything like this class.
