REAL MADRID star Marco Asensio reckons Eden Hazard will ‘one day tell us what is wrong with him’.
Hazard, 31, looks a shadow of the player who set English football alight for seven years with Chelsea.
The Belgian has scored just four league goals in two-and-a-half years for Real.
And numerous injuries have seen Hazard become little more than a bit-part player under current boss Carlo Ancelotti.
The playmaker is now being tipped for a summer exit, with Real set to take a huge hit on the initial £89million they paid for him in 2019.
And Asensio believes in time, Hazard will reveal the reasons behind his underwhelming spell in Spain.
Asensio said: “I see him well. He trains well, I see him wanting to give Madrid joy, but many things have been put together, some injury… it’s difficult to know.
“You have to ask him that and one day he will tell us. He can still be very important this season. He’s a player who has incredible talent.

“He’s one of the best players I’ve shared a dressing room and you can already see that in training. I think he can contribute a lot this season.”
Asensio has also had his say on Gareth Bale, 32, who has played just three times in the league this season.
Asensio added: “His day to day is normal like that of any of us. He needs to be physically fit to give 100 per cent on the pitch.
“He has given a lot to Madrid. I see him well and he can be prepared to help. It’s up to the coach if he gives him minutes or not.
“In the locker room and in training he is quite integrated with everyone. Each one has their character.”
