Read on for our man's top tips and back a horse by clicking their odds below.
FREE WIND (3.35 York, nap)
She can show her true colours back on this better ground. She kicked off this season with a gutsy win in the Group 2 Middleton Stakes here in May. Frankie Dettori said she wasn’t right after finishing fifth in the Hardwicke at Royal Ascot before 1m6f in deep mud at Goodwood proved a bit much last time. Dropping in distance at a track she likes can do the trick.
RELIEF RALLY (1.50 York, nb)
She has hardly put a foot wrong and had an impressive three lengths in hand when winning the Super Sprint at Newbury last time. That came after her agonising nose defeat in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot where she was in front inches before and inches after the line. She finished strongly and should relish stepping up in distance now.
SCENIC (4.10 York, treble)
She took her form up a notch when a close-up third in a Listed contest over 1m2f here last time. She finished well and shapes as though this longer trip will be ideal with Oisin Murphy getting on board today.

She finished strongly and should relish stepping up in distance now.
Flora Of Bermuda was a bit unlucky to finish only sixth in the Queen Anne as she won the race on the unfavoured far side.
She proved that was no fluke with a convincing win at Glorious Goodwood last time. She is another who looks ready for this extra furlong.
Cherry Blossom clocked a good time when winning a Curragh maiden by five lengths just 12 days ago.
She blasted off from the front there and never had a moment’s danger. This is a big hike in class but the Aidan O’Brien runner could be well up to it.
Star Of Mystery won a Newmarket Listed race with plenty in hand before being turned over at 1-6 when second in the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes there latest.
She has a tongue tie on for the first time here which may help but she has a few questions to answer now.
Beautiful Diamond hasn’t run since her good third in the Queen Mary. She should improve for the step up to this distance.
2.25
RICHARD Hannon has an amazing record in this race with five wins since 2016.
He has four decent chances here with DAPPERLING looking a really big price if she’s able to reproduce the form that saw her finish second in the Super Sprint at Newbury two runs ago.
She hated the heavy ground at Goodwood last time so put a line through that. She has a good low draw and moving up to 6f could be a smart move.
Hannon also runs Persica who was impressive when winning at Salisbury and looks a big threat.
Another stablemate Gaiden was beaten just a length in a Listed contest here in May so is respected.
Dragon Leader has won both starts and showed good battling qualities to score last time. He is proven over this trip and looks a major player.
Twilight Romance was an easy maiden winner here two starts ago before not getting the run of the race when second at Pontefract. He has a lot more to come for John Quinn.
Ziggy’s Condor didn’t have to break sweat when winning on debut at Pontefract. He saw out this trip well there and has a lot more to come.
That’s For Sure couldn’t get going in a big Naas sales race last time after winning nicely at Carlisle.
He needs his very best but Karl Burke is always respected at this level.

THE GATEKEEPER looks a big price after an excellent second in the Golden Mile at Glorious Goodwood. That was over this trip and he’s off the same mark.
William Buick takes over on board and Charlie Johnston’s horses are in decent form.
Stablemate Dutch Decoy was a place behind the tip last time on the back of a good Newmarket win. He’ll be thereabouts again.
Northern Express is a big threat. He was third at Royal Ascot before winning here last month.
He went close in hot company again latest and won’t mind stepping up to a mile.
Last year’s winner Blue For You was an easy scorer here last month and can figure despite a 6lb hike in the weights.
Akhu Najla came back from a break to show promise with an Ascot fourth. He should be dangerous off this mark.
Terwada is an improver who can figure on this hike in class, while Orbaan usually runs well here.

FREE WIND can show her true colours back on this better ground. She kicked off this seson with a gutsy win in the Group 2 Middleton Stakes here in May.
Frankie Dettori said she wasn’t right after finishing fifth in the Hardwicke at Royal Ascot before 1m6f in deep mud at Goodwood proved a bit much last time.
Dropping in distance at a track she likes can do the trick.
Savethelastdance is an amazing filly. Ryan Moore has to shovel the coal on miles from home every time she runs before she eventually unleashes her sharp finishing power.
That was the case when she won the Cheshire Oaks by 22 lengths and again when winning the Irish version on the line after looking well beaten.
In between she was a good second at Epsom when the ground may have been a bit lively for her.
That may be the case again but she’s a danger.
As is the horse she chinned in the Irish Oaks, Bluestocking.
She was having just her fourth run there and there’s more to come from Ralph Beckett’s filly.
Al Husn stepped up to Group 1 class to take the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood last time.
That was seven wins from her past eight runs and she handles any ground. She’ll be a big danger if seeing out this longer trip.
4.10
SCENIC took her form up a notch when a close-up third in a Listed contest over 1m2f here last time.
She finished well and shapes as though this longer trip will be ideal with Oisin Murphy getting on board today.
Modaara has few miles on the clock and looked a real prospect when winning by 13 lengths on comeback at Kempton.
She failed to match that form when beaten four lengths in a Haydock Group 3 but she can bounce back here.
Makinmedoit is a useful handicapper who was a decent third in this grade at Salisbury last time. She could be helped by this longer trip.
Sea Theme stayed well when winning a maiden at Doncaster last month.
William Haggas steps her up in class here but there should be a lot more to come.
The King has a chance with another Haggas runner, Market Value.
She got off the mark at Ripon in May and made a decent start to her handicapping career when a close second at Chester latest.
Moving up to this trip should help and William Buick takes over.
One Evening was unlucky not to win a Pontefract Listed contest last time and is another with every chance for the Gosdens.
4.45
AJWADI caught the eye when winning a Pontefract maiden last time.
He improved with every yard of the 6f trip and had plenty in the tank crossing the line.
The handicapper has been more than fair with an opening mark of 78 and moving up in distance can bring more improvement for trainer Richard Fahey.
Lincoln Legacy is turned out quickly after scoring nicely at Newmarket latest.
She came from a fair way back to land a cosy success under Franny Norton who stays on board today.
Aragon Castle was a good winner at Epsom before going close in the mud at Chester. This quicker ground suits better and he looks open to improvement.
Gamraan has yet to win but went close on handicap debut at Goodwood. He has plenty of stamina and can make his presence felt.
Keep Warm has been in flying form over 6f with two wins at Pontefract. He charged home so this extra furlong should hold no fears.
Expert Choice dug deep so score at Beverley and is proven over this trip. A handicap mark of 85 means he’ll have to improve but that’s more than likely.
Blue Collar has a low mark for his handicap debut after a good run at Newmarket and could easily hit the frame.
5.20
SOPHIA’S STARLIGHT showed real guts to win Ripon’s Great St Wilfrid Handicap at the weekend and can follow up under a penalty.
That was over 6f but she stays this longer trip and will give it another good go. Nigiri has been in winning form at Hayock on her past two outings.
She has few miles on the clock and can improve further. The only slight worry is that she’s shown her best on soft ground so far.
Unequal Love has won three of her four races including her handicap debut latest.
She is going up the weights but will surely have more to offer.
Royal Dress ran well in a good contest at Goodwood last time.
She didn’t get the clearest of runs and can cope with a 3lb rise in the weights. She needs more but is one of many with an each-way shout.
Farhh To Say went close at Royal Ascot and ran her best race since when winning easily at Yarmouth 28 days ago.
A 4lb rise for that seems fair and she’ll be in the mix again.
Candle Of Hope has had some help from the handicapper and showed positive signs at Goodwood latest.
