A MAN was seriously injured when he was attacked inside the AO Arena after Chris Eubank Jr's fight.
The man remains in hospital after cops were called to reports of an attack just after the fight in the Manchester venue between Eubank Jnr and Liam Smith.
Officers investigating the assault said that the man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Greater Manchester Police said: "Shortly after midnight on Sunday, 3 September 2023, officers received reports that a man had been attacked inside the AO Arena on Hunt's Bank, Manchester, shortly after a boxing event that night.
"The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he currently remains.
"His injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening.

"Officers are now appealing for any witnesses from around the time of the incident – approximately between midnight and 00.10am – to please come forward.
"Additionally, anyone with any mobile phone footage they consider relevant is asked to share this with officers."
