GARETH Ainsworth's lucky boots weren't enough to save Wycombe from losing at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
The Chairboys manager opted to wear his £200 red snakeskin boots for the trip to Hillsborough.
But they weren't able to prevent Wycombe's difficult start to the season from continuing.

An incredible Anis Mehmeti run allowed ex-Stoke City and Burnley striker Sam Vokes to thump the away side level soon after.
But Wednesday were back in front just past the half hour mark when Barry Bannan scored from close-range.
